It was created as an independent station, with a mission to offer local , Caribbean and international programming, and to contribute meaningfully to the information, awareness and the development of our nation and the region, through the building of educated and informed communities. After 10 years of operation WINN FM 98.9 has earned a high reputation for fair and accurate reporting and providing easy access for public debate to all citizens/ residents of St Kitts and Nevis, regardless of political persuasion, educational attainment or religious belief. We pride ourselves on being a reliable source of factual, original news content , giving all sides of each story. This stance has led to WINN FM 98.9 and WINNFM.COM being acknowledged today as St Kitts and Nevis leading radio / internet radio station, and an essential, pivotal component in the St Kitts Media landscape, where there is heavy reliance by most other local media on Government-filtered news in the form of press releases for their content.
